every time i refresh, that white flashing screen blinds me, and i nearly have an epileptic seizure. remove this from the game somehow and my migraine will recede long enough for me to think of some valuable we can add.

Whats your browser?
Does it ever happen at other times?

Maybe just turn down your brightness? I don't find it that bright.
It happens to me occasionally when I get a little lag, on Google Chrome.

Yeah, It's just your browser being slow.. In theory there shouldn't be a white page cause the CSS (page layout) is loaded instantly, however, if you have lag, it takes time and your browser defaults to white. I don't think you can change that though...

As a few people have pointed out, this is a user-specific issue, and not a game issue.
Some remedies would be to upgrade to a newer version of your browser, switch to a different browser, faster internet connection, and any other optimisation that will speed up your computer.
