So I was browsing and found quite a few topics on this bank interest. It seems like the system was there at first then got removed for some reason (maybe inflation?).
I think it could be good bringing it back for RMs, which would encourage people to make a little purchase every month, keeping the game going and hopefully saving enough to keep developing it.
Maybe the interest should be paid every week, or even every month, at a logical rate, just like bank deposits in real life. -

It was definitely nuked because it inflated the economy. But maybe something like interest only for RM characters at a low rate would be okay. That way it sinks points into the economy for RM trades (assuming people train them)

Exactly what I was thinking!
We don't need a too big of an interest, because in real life or in a game, it creates inflation, which could make problems (think Zimbabwe as an extreme sample case).
Then again, all banks offer various deposits with various interest rates. I think no bank simply takes cut of the money you're storing without any kind of incentive back at you as their customer. -
Bank interest of 1% a month please for RMs.
