General Reminders

  1. Leon Wardman @ 29 Jan 2009 02:36:41 AM
All of these things have been mentioned before so this is a general reminder since these issues seem to be constantly still happening.

    Account Sales
Mafia Death does NOT have anything to do with account selling or trades. If you are selling your account, you do so at YOUR own risk. If you happen to get scammed/cheated, there is NOTHING we can do. So please either use a middleman or be completely sure you trust the person your dealing with. We will NOT reimburse you for any money/points lost, nor will we intervene, so please dont file support tickets asking for refunds as it is not going to happen.

    Same IP Transfers
You will be given one warning about same IP transfers, if you are caught doing it again after this warning you will be banned and you wont be unbanned.

The rules are simple, if you are on the same IP as someone else, don't make transfers with that person. This includes being sneaky and joining the same gang to transfer, because we can see this just as easy as finding people who transfer directly on same IP.

    Cross Server Trades
Cross server trades are done at your own risk. Please try to limit your risk wherever possible by using the in game markets and only trading with people you trust or who have good references. People caught scamming WILL be tagged at the very least.

    RM Pack Scamming
Anybody found deliberately scamming people on RM/Point Packs will have their account banned. Simple as that.

    Scammer Tags
Before dealing with anyone, look at their profile. If they have a scammer or liar tag, take it seriously. Anyone with these tags is a proven scammer or liar. If an account with a tag on is for sale, realise that you are buying the tag too. It will not be removed.

    lastly, Account Swapping
There is far too much account swapping going on. Don't automatically assume GM's will give you permission to swap accounts and like account sales you swap at your own risk.

''Anyone with these tags is a proven scammer or liar''

''realise that you are buying the tag too''

Does that not defeat the purpose? Not everyone with a tag is a proven scammer/liar as they may of bought the acc..

I don't understand the logic behind you saying that u won't get involed with scamming when staff do help people get accounts back and ban people as well...
  9. Leon Wardman @ 29 Jan 2009 03:10:14 AM
Why anyone would trust a scammer enough to buy a scammer tagged profile is beyond me.

Nymph the point is we don't have to help so people shouldn't expect us too.

Ducky, quit split hairs . Many people tagged as a scammer try rather hard to convince us they've sold when we can see that it's obvious they haven't.

it says "You will be given one warning about same IP transfers, if you are caught doing it again after this warning you will be banned and you wont be unbanned" ... well i hate to say it but i was never given a warning with my 2 accounts... and NO i was NOT being "sneaky" and cross trading with the two in the same gang on MD1... someone jumped the gun on that one.... I STILL like to see the "proof" that is speculated to be had

"well i hate to say it but i was never given a warning with my 2 accounts"

I think that's proof enough. :haha:
  15. eraseme @ 06 Feb 2009 11:30:23 PM
no it was not proof enough... as ive NEVER swapped between the two accounts yet the admin say i was (through gang or on same IP) ... just goes to show how YOU ADMIN like to jump to conclusions on stuff
