Account trades

    Just a friendly reminder for people who might be trading accounts in the future..

    You need to inform an [online] staff member PRIOR to you changing accounts. Then please wait until that staff member responds and gives you the go-ahead to move.

    So, once you've made a deal with someone for an account and are pretty much ready to move, check which staff are [online] and active, then send them a mail something like this:

    Hello lovely staff member. I am currently in account number 6666 and will shortly be trading accounts with number 6969. Is this ok?

    OR

    I am purchasing account number 6666. They are leaving the game and I am requesting that my old account number 6969 be deleted please.


    In other words, staff needs to know a couple things prior to any moves:

    1. What account number you are moving into.
    2. Where that owner is moving to.
    3. Who is moving into your old account or if you want it deleted.

    Then the lovely staff member will note the accounts involved and reply back that it's ok.

    Simple really.

    Otherwise, our highly trained ninja GMs will probably flag you as a multi when they see all the item transfers - but no notes of any account trade.
    Also, it helps us track certain people's movements and this in turn makes the game a safer place for trading.

    P.S. Bear in mind that account trades are done at your own risk too, so make sure you trust the person you're trading with.

    That's news to me, lol.
    If you have 60k points on your old account but none on your new one, you're hardly gonna leave them behind :)
