Hidden Links

    There have been many questions recently about them. Let me clear this up for everyone.

    First of all, what are hidden links?
    Hidden links are any links in a post or profile that you aren't quite sure where they go to.

    Such as: Akasha... or no?

    This http://game3.mafiadeath.com/profile/19929.php is not hidden as you can see it goes to my profile. :wink:

    **If ever you are unsure, right click on the link and go to properties. It will show you the address of the link in question.**

    What is allowed?
    We will allow hidden links on profiles and in the forums AS LONG AS IT DIRECTS YOU TO SOMETHING IN MD.

    Such as: Random Link
    (again, right-click and check properties) :smile:

    What is NOT allowed?
    Any link directing you outside of MD. Anyone caught posting an outside link, will be warned/banned appropriately.

    Definitely no links to other games. This includes referral links.

    If you come across a profile or post that has a hidden link to outside of MD on it or a referral link on it, it would be greatly appreciated if you would let a member of staff know so that we may take appropriate action.

    I hope this clears up any questions you all may have had recently.

    So it's HIDDEN links to sites outside that are not allowed?

    Yes. If it is hidden, but directs you to somewhere inside of MD (attack link, rate up link, cities, etc) we are gonna allow it.

    To be safe, like I said, right click the link to know what you are clicking and where you are gonna end up. If you end up attacking a player, your own fault.

    From the way I read it, and it appears perfectly clear, no uniform resource locator text, clickable or not, is/are allowed to be visible publicly.

    Private mail between 2 players, are we ok within mail to a friend providing it's not Mass Gang Mail, Gang Forums etc?

    its pretty fucking simple people- no links to other sites - links to stuff that is part of MD is fine.

    so just a hypothetical scenario....Say player A has a huge amount of cash out. Player B notices that player A is about to get out of the ward and sends player A a message with a link that opens thousands of windows on players A's computer. Is that bannable?
