Account Piloting and Sales

    If you enter a game and see the listing littered with, 'FOR SALE,' are you going to be more or less inclined to stay?

    It wont be a deterrent to new players. When I first joined the game the second I found out you could sell accounts I pushed to make an account that I could sell and I did.

    Anyways Dace and Monaco I disagree with both of you a lot..... Just as I disagreed with the whole dont advertise in the forums rule. (WHich was actually a good one) But yeah this is just stupid, people don't play the game anymore and want to sell their account. So now it's gonna take 3 times as long to sell an account. blah blah blah, stupid rule.

    These new rules are shit. 'For Sale' names have been around since the beggining...If it didn't deter new players then (everyone that's in the game now) It wont deter new players in the future.

    On a sidenote; can we still message other players asking them to buy our accounts?

    From a quick search on several servers, it looks like it only conflicts with possible popular names of Dread and Ready.

    so instead of trying to add more features to make new players want to stay you decide that taking the words for sale out of the game is going to make them want to stay forever. GREAT IDEA!!!

    I like the new rules. Anti-Piloting legislation should have come in a long, long time ago, and not seeing For Sale everywhere you look is a good thing. I left MD for atleast a year and to come back to find 1/2 of the HoF players listed as for sale, it tells you right away how dead this game has become. It's no longer about the game, but about a small pathetic business opportunity.

    Realistically though, the next change that I'm hoping for is something to return some parity to the game. No more level 500's hiding out in their own personal cities selling points, purchaseable items that lower other gangsters stats making more people available to attack. Something like that.
