Item Deterioration

  1. Dave @ 30 Jun 2012 03:31:24 AM
We're back from the maintenance with a few changes to the game.

All weapons and armour now have a quality rating, and will deteriorate through use.

Guns now require ammunition to operate, and each gun now has updated strength ratings.

All users equipped weapons/armour/shoes have been unequipped so that you may assess if you would like to use an item before equipping it again.

Deterioration values and item prices will be periodically reviewed as a result of the change.

If you have any weapons/armour/shoes that are rare and you don't want to lose them, be very weary of equipping them as both you attacking and being attacked will trigger deterioration.

Any minor bugs encountered should be logged in this thread, any major/abuse-able bugs should be logged via a support ticket.

    Strength Bonus: +600%

For the RPG 29. Is that correct?

Annoying if you want to sell weapons armor or shoes in your inventory. Everything isn't grouped any more. I have to sell my 20 bullet proof vest 1 by 1.

come on it costs enough to buy the stupid things now they deteriorate

It is correct, yes. You need an RP Grenade each time you fire an RPG launcher though, so it'll get expensive fast!

Ammo is bought in the same places as the guns

RPG-29 has 600% strength bonus while silk spider vest still only has 68% bonus. That's a massive advantage to strength players and a huge detriment to defense players, isn't it?

    Nice

Where would one buy ammo if so inclined? :shy:

Where does on get RP Grenades from?
  15. Dave @ 30 Jun 2012 03:42:57 AM
RPG requires ammo to use it, so the trade off is-- you pay a lot for the ammo (uses one grenade each hit), or you don't get the huge bonus.
