Account Swaps, Trades, Sales

    This is a repeat I know, but a few people seem to have forgotten and need a reminder before the staff have breakdowns!

    ALL account sales and swaps need to be noted and approved by an ACTIVE GM or FM BEFORE they take place.



    At the moment people are telling us after the event and by then accounts have been flagged for same ip transfers. If you cant be bothered letting us know, dont expect us to be bothered unbanning you.



    After you have let a staff know your switching accounts, you have 24 hours to do any transfers, not a week not a month 24 HOURS. After that any transfers will be classes as a multi and you will be banned.



    When you swap accounts you are asked to stay in that account for at least a month. This is to stop account stripping and is non negotiable. It will be adhered to from now and no exceptions.


    I'd suggest if you want a fast swap, you contact a gm that is active, mailing Kyle, Dave, Paul or Poison will be a long wait, as Dave and Paul arnt active, Kyle is stretched over 4 servers and i'm on 3 and we don't always run back just to read mail.

    Thanx for the news post Poison. I had an hour long run around which in the middle of it appeared to be account stripping. After being told by one account to read the mails and me making 14 different notes to track the situation, i found out that an account sale had happened and no notes were made to the effect. It put one high level/stat account at risk during that time and that account including 2 others were flagged for banning. All was taken care of in the end, but the point is 3 accounts could have been banned very easily for doing nothing wrong except not notifying staff. The owner of an account that was leaving MD didnt message a staff member and wait for approval. He would have had no ill effects. The other two people would have.

    So i guess my point here is this:
    If you are buying an account and the previous owner is either leaving the game or coming back as a noob, you would be the one at risk. Never assume or take their word about getting an ok. Always ask staff yourself.

    I would say both parties involved should message a staff member. Try to make sure its an active staff member and the SAME one.
