Impersonating staff/Account scamming

    Hi guys.

    First off, we're all aware of the account selling/swapping procedure, right? It should be embedded in your brains by now.

    Standard procedure is to message an active staff member before going through with your account switch.

    However, it seems that there are certain people that like to impersonate staff up to the point of scamming accounts.

    Any and all messages to and from a staff member will and should happen IN GAME.

    Meaning, no staff member is going to go to chat to talk you through an account sale and they're definitely not going to add you on MSN to do something they're very well capable of doing here.

    Also, do not take another player's word that he/she has messaged staff and that everything is ok. Message a staff member yourself.

    If you're having trouble finding staff, they are located under World Leaders on your city page.

    Don't fall for any BS about ''I'm staff, I am just waiting to get modded back up''.

    If they are not on that list of staff members, then they are not staff and you should not message them about any account switching.

    Its easy to get caught up in someone offering WAY too much for your stuffz. This way if you are scammed, you are just shit out of luck aka SOL.

    So, when you log your ticket abt being scammed of your account, it may just be closed.:haha:

    Unfortunately it happens and it's happening now more than ever. Hopefully this will inform everyone, including new players and we can keep it from happening so much.
