Petty Crime Crackdown [What's new? 18 Jan, 2022]

    Hi all,

    Another boring looking update on the surface and in the changelog, but there's a bit of heavy lifting under the surface to enable a few new event types/flavours.

    One of the new events is going into effect immediately is the Petty Crime Crackdown!

    Added:
    - Five new event types/flavours

    Fixed:
    - User tag now displays "user not found" instead of empty border again

    It's a massive jail orgy, as Towlie put it! Every minute there's new arrests, and yes, King Pizzo -- effectively you bust people out of prison for experience... or don't!

    why not triple or quadruple the exp during Petty Crime Crackdown? that would be an actual EVENT :hmm:

    I like the premise of this but wish it was taken a step further. Bust out X amount of people and get bonus exp. If more than X amount of people in the same gang participate on that level then the gang gets exp. Make that number large enough and watch event wars happen. It's good for the player, good for the gang and good for the economy.

    This would be nice if success ratio was a lot higher after the first bust, if you could bust people from other cities, and if there was either a reward for busting x amount of people or simply more XP per bust. :shifty:
