From the week of the 13th March (ie. next week), logging in with a username & password will be disabled (as opposed to email & password).
This means that if you are not yet using your email address for logging into the game you will be forced to do so from next week onwards.
If you have been using your username & password to login, you should be sure to head to "Edit Account" and make sure you have your preferred email set, or at least know what the current email is, and you should ensure that your password is what you expect it to be as username logins currently let you login with the password from the original username/password combination which is not necessarily your account's current password.
If you have been using email & password to login, good work!

ok i checked and am able to log in with email

i got logged out a few days ago when this happened.
i thought game was buggy so I changed my password too.. only for me to see that username was requiring email instead of username
