If users are not spending their money at all even after these changes, more will be changed to elicit people to spend their money.
The aim isn't to make people buy only the ammo to use, it's that they will be required to continually buy (or repair when it's implemented) new weapons and armour of any/all sorts to continue to get the bonuses.
As it was, it was a one-time purchase. You spend the, for example, $3,000,000 on a weapon once, it lasts you forever. There is no incentive or reasoning for you to ever spend money on weapons again after that point.
If there are other things that could have been done to drain the cash, feel free to suggest them. If you notice, there are basically no suggestions in the suggestion forum where people think of the economy as a whole and suggest drains or holes. Most suggestions are purely self-serving or things that will not effect the userbase as a whole.

war games would have helped here
people buying Certs and Kits and all the other styuff would reduce the amount of money in the game

sorry i forgot to put this bit in italics like this

Only to a certain extent-- some players have no issue waiting out the 20 minute hospital time, forgoing the need to spend money on a cert or a kit.
When you lose your weapon/armour, it puts you on an entirely different playing field, and it's a much bigger incentive to spend again to fix it or to purchase new equipment than it is to just have nothing equipped at all.
-
You could just give everyone a 24hr warning to spend all money before it will all be wiped. I rather have one change that pisses ppl off and get it over with then all these small changes that dont do much and piss ppl off.

Ok i love that you got to buy ammo, i like also that you need to buy weapons, i dont like that they have the same things like RG, i think the guns should jam and you have to repair it and you have to take it to some shop and repair it costing constant cash , and having to buy boxes of ammo, not just singles all the time,Even leaving the guns at the original percentages would have been ok, the 300% and all that its just insane and basically all the deterioration things is so RG and should stay there.
So in short , make guns jam, get dirt in them and have to be cleaned , make a repair guy not people who have the skill but a repair shop in certain cities, you got to pay high to get into the city and have to pay to repair and there goes some fix to the economy , sometimes repair could be cheap, sometimes expensive and sometimes you would just be better or buying a new weapons , also sometimes repair man isnt even there.

off*

Guns jamming and dirt in them and whatnot is only a different in naming, not mechanic. It's more than possible to add individual text as to the reasoning of a gun failure or equipment deterioration, the repairing side of the mechanic is not in yet.
-
That sounds good bro
But it doesnt matter abought persentage if u just gonna buy ammo after like i go bug rpg-7 with 50 ammo's i wast em all and rpg is still there well i gave no cash so i sell rog get a revolver and buy even more ammo evenually no ones gonba give a crap abought how much more str this gives u if u cant buy it
-
i agree with the 24 hr thing.
also watch gang vaults im sure money will be stacked there.
if money hoarding is screwing all of us over then i think as a whole we should agree to wipe it out so some new shit could be added.
-
I find that i would like to repair my weapons then have to buy new ones
i know that you repair your gun in real life rather than buy a new one
-
Even if its all the same thing and its just a different name it still requires them to go repair it and spend money.
It will just show a different reason, noone cares if its the same thing, they just see that damn my gun jammed or shit , i got to clean this weapon, and make it where the guns have to spend like 20 minutes or so in there where there waiting for it to be fixed.. stuff like that.
